Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center is offering two options for the Full Strawberry Moon on June 20 from 7 to 9 pm for the first day of summer. Ian Keefe will lead a guided kayak paddle, while Leonard Tremblay will lead a hike at the same time. The guided paddle is limited to 12 boats so pre-registration is required and can be done by contacting the Center at dykenpond@gmail.com or 518-658-2055. Kayaks can be rented for $10, or you can bring your own. Bring a picnic dinner beforehand if you’d like. Both tours are free.

The Town of Hoosick Baseball and Softball League fields were filled to the brim with softball players as the league hosted its biggest tournament ever over the weekend.
