To the Editor;
I am writing in reference to a financial issue we are facing in the Town of New Lebanon. Our local cemetery is presently facing bankruptcy, and, should this happen, it will fall to the Town to take care of it. State Law prevents Town owned cemeteries from ever selling plots again, which means the cemetery would no longer be self-sustaining. We have also struggled to repair and add-on to our Town Hall, upgrade our park, etc. Yet, our local library is receiving an annual grant from the Town in excess of $135,000.

Heatly played an outstanding defensive game playing an offside trap that caught Berlin offsides throughout the game. But Kyle Burdick, taking a direct kick restart, got the ball to Jackson Burhans who knocked the ball into the goal to give Berlin a 1 to 0 lead in the second half.
Heatly had a penalty kick opportunity to tie the game, but Mike Reger made an outstanding save for Berlin. Dylan Hover scored the second Berlin goal late in the game to ice the win.
Kevin Greene in goal for Heatly had 16 saves. Mike Reger for Berlin had 7 saves. There were no cards in the game.
