Local Runners Amoung The Top Finishers In Run For The Roses At Grafton Lakes State Park

Latham’s Eric Youns was the first across the finish line in Sunday’s event at the Grafton Lakes State Park in a time of 18:16, with Grafton’s Ryan Gosse placing second, about a minute behind. Hoosick Falls Firemen Visit Saint Mary’s Academy Summer Camp

A few weeks ago the Hoosick Falls Fire Deparment stopped by the Saint Mary’s Academy Summer Camp to talk about fire safety.  The campers saw a firefighter dressed up in turnout gear and got a tour of the fire truck. The children learned a bit about firefighting, and then posed with the firemen for this picture.
