Both Berlin Varsity Soccer Teams had great regular season records, the Boys even sharing in the Central Hudson Valley League title. Good enough were their efforts that both teams got home games in their opening Section II games, and ironically enough, both squads faced Northville’s Falcons. Pedestrian Killed By Drunk Driver On River Street In Hoosick Falls

On Saturday night, October 24, tragedy struck Hoosick Falls. Kyle Redden, a 22 year-old resident of Hoosick Falls and Class of 2011 HFCS graduate, was struck and killed by a drunk driver as he was walking home from a party. Redden was taken to Southwestern Vermont Medical Center by the Hoosick Falls Rescue Squad. He died at the hospital.
