It isn’t easy being a student these days. While trying to stay focused on their coursework, kids are constantly responding to texts, e-mails, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Pressure from high stakes tests, sports teams, extracurricular activities, and for some, work, add more  stress. Young people face emotional and social issues every day, like peer pressure, temptations, bullying, and sometimes home issues. Community Jumble Sale At Beer Diviner Taproom

The Beer Diviner Brewery of Cherry Plain is putting on a fun Community Jumble Sale at the Taproom & Market on Saturday, August 8, starting at 2 pm at the corner of Routes 22 and 43 in Stephentown. The brewery is preparing to expand and move the tasting room back to its roots in Cherry Plain. Heroic Hijinks is a music and movement program that will have your 3 to 7 year olds vanquishing villains, flying around a super-sized parachute, and leaping over buildings in a single bound. Approximately 140 alumni and guests attended the 34th Annual Walter A Wood Alumni Reunion on Saturday, July 13 at the Pittstown Volunteer Emergency Corp. Cantering Cowpokes Float Wins!

Cantering Cowpokes 4-H Club won 1st place for the Prettiest Float in the 4th of July parade with our “Something’s Fishy” float and accompanying fish, mermaids, turtle, and sea horses.
