Rescheduled Basketball Games Between BCS And NLCS

The Boys Varsity basketball game between the Berlin Central School Mountaineers and the New Lebanon Tigers will be played at New Lebanon on Monday, February 14. The game will be at 6 pm.
The two schools’ Boys Modified basketball teams will play at New Lebanon on Tuesday, February 15. The game will start at 4:30 pm.

Morgan’s Artillery At the Stephentown Historical Society

Although the subject of Civil War re-enactor Mac McEvilly’s very entertaining talk at the Stephentown Historical Society Monday night was Morgan’s Artillery, a unit in the Union Army’s 155th New York Volunteers, part of the Irish brigade known as Corcoran’s Legion, McEvilly as a re-enactor portrays both Union and Confederate soldiers. Grafton Fire Department Breakfast With A Mission

The Grafton Volunteer Fire Department along with the Grafton Ladies Auxiliary will be holding an All You Can Eat Buffet Breakfast on Saturday, February 26, from 8 to 11 am at the Grafton VFW – Fire Hall on South Road (County Route 85). Belgian waffles, pancakes, French toast, sausage gravy and biscuits, eggs (made to order), bacon, sausage, home fries, toast, orange juice, coffee and milk are on the menu. Cost is $8 per adult, $4 per kid 12 and under and free for kids 5 and under.  We look forward to serving you!  This month there will be a bake sale to benefit a Ukrainian family.

Local Girl Scouts Help Extend Thrift Shop Hours

To help get great clothes for great prices into the hands of those who need them, Girl Scouts from local Service Unit #155 will again be opening the Thrift Shop for business on Friday, February 11, from 4 to 8 pm and Saturday, February 12, from 9:30 am to noon. The shop is located at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (second floor) on Main Street, Hoosick Falls.

Freeing Charles At The Poestenkill Historical Society
