Inez Scaglione

Buskirk – Inez (Lockrow) Scaglione, 85, died peacefully on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Albany Memorial Hospital.
Born on October 23, 1924, in Cambridge, NY. Inez was the daughter of the late Mary Mears and Myron Lockrow.  Inez grew up on the Lockrow family farm on Oak Hill Road in Cambridge, and she loved to drive by and reminisce about her childhood days.

Glen was employed as a warehouse worker for the US Food Service Company in CA. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid NY Giants fan.

Ben Franklin’s wood carving as it appeared in the Pennsylvania Gazette on May 9, 1754.

In 1754, Benjamin Franklin published a drawing of a snake cut into eight parts (Georgia was not included). This was to show the members of the Albany Congress the danger of disunity. The rattlesnake had become a favored symbol among pre-Revolutionary War colonists.
