Grafton Library Book Discussion

Cancellation of Movie “Under Our Skin”

North Chatham Library announces the cancellation of the documentary “Under Our Skin” planned for August 26 at 7 pm.  We hope to be able to show this movie at a future date.
This movie is showing at Time and Space Limited at 434 Columbia St, Hudson on 8/20, 8/21, 8/22 and 8/23 at 5:30 pm.

Superintendent John Koepp approached me at work on May 20 with a letter he had written. La Tragedie de Carmen At Hubbard Hall

The Hubbard Hall Opera Theatre has opened a new production of La Tragedie de Carmen, running through August 23. This is an adaptation created in 1981 by the celebrated English director Peter Brook and several other collaborators, with libretto by Sheldon Harnick. Hoosick Falls – Mary LaPorte, 93, died Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington. She formerly resided at the Wood Bridge Apartments in Hoosick Falls, NY, and was the wife of the late Walter LaPorte, who died in 1976.
