Sky High Adventures and Grafton Lakes State Park Off-Road Triathlons will be held at the Park  July 18 and 19.  The Sky High Kids Off-Road Triathlon, will take place on Saturday, July 18, with a 9 am start time.  The Sky High Off-Road Triathlon at Grafton Lakes, a Nissan Xterra Points Series Race, will take place on Sunday, July 19, with an 8 am start time.

Lohnes Pleads Not Guilty

Michael Lohnes of Hoosick Falls appeared before Rensselaer County Court Judge Andrew G. Ceresia on July 1 to face charges in connection with a December 29, 2008, burglary at a Hill Road farm in the Town of Hoosick. In addition to the burglary charges, Lohnes is accused of criminal mischief and cruelty to animals. A horse named Skye, boarded at the farm and owned by Dawn Feathers was stabbed 20 times and killed the night of the burglary.
