Rensselaer County Executive Kathleen M. Jimino has released the results of the 2016 Prescription Drug Take Back Day event within Rensselaer County. Petersburgh Town Board Action

Petersburgh Revises Its
Building Code Law

After a Public Hearing in which no one offered any comments, The Petersburgh Town Board approved a set of amendments to the Building Code law that it first passed in 2014.  The law basically adopts New York State Building Code, Fire Code, and Energy Code for use in the Town of Petersburgh, and defines enforcement mechanisms.

Great Strides Walk At GLSP Will Raise Funds For Cystic Fibrosis Research And Treatment

The Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides Walk at Grafton Lakes State Park is scheduled for May 22. Check-in will be at 11 and the walk at noon.
The Kempf family walks for their son Mathew on a team called “Hoops for Mat.” All are welcome to join in the walk and anyone requesting more information or wishing to donate can call 518-573-9790.

Berlin–Dennis J. FaFard, 90, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Dennis was born in St. Eugene, Quebec, Canada, a son of the late Alexander and Alice FaFard. He honorably and valiantly served his country in the United States Army and his duty was as a weather observer in Alaska where he would make, record and evaluate data on atmospheric elements.
