The Lady Panthers had one slip away last Friday when Hoosic Valley sank a shot with less than one second left. The Indians headed back to Schaghticoke with a big win. The league leading Panthers got sloppy in the waning minutes to help the Indians cause. Hoosic Valley scored 13 points off turnovers, almost half their total, to the Pathers seven. Hoosic Valley HS,1/15. With the Hoosic Valley suffering through an off year after competing in state championship competition for the past couple years, the Panthers easily defeated the Indians. Both teams started slowly, with HF outscoring the Indians, 5 – 4 in the first quarter. From there, the Panthers outscored the Indians 30 – 12, with the Indians only scoring in double figures in the fourth quarter, after the game was decided.
