BEHOLD! New Lebanon Rural Guide Tours

Behold! New Lebanon, the living museum of contemporary rural American life, has announced its schedule of programs for Saturday, Sept. 5, the tenth week of its inaugural summer programming. The new museum without walls celebrates the rich historical and cultural heritage of New Lebanon.

Unlike any other museum in the country, BEHOLD! New Lebanon offers a variety of tours by locals –Rural Guides, not costumed docents. These guides welcome visitors to their places of work, avocation, or enjoyment, introducing museum goers to their own roles in today’s rural America.

Two Exciting Events Coming To Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center

Evening Paddle 

Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center is offering an Evening Paddle on September 9 from 5 to 6:30 pm. Bring a picnic dinner you can eat by the lake, if desired.  This program is limited to 12 boats so pre-registration is required and can be done by contacting the Center at dykenpond@fairpoint.net or by calling 518-658-2055. Kayaks can be rented for $10, or you can bring your own. A complete list of programs can be found at: www.dykenpond.org.
