Rev Tor Solo At The New Lebanon Library
Berkshire musician Tor Krautter will perform his Rev Tor solo show at the New Lebanon Library on Thursday, June 14, at 7 pm. With the use of a looping unit, Rev Tor creates tasty yet infectious grooves and performs a large repertoire of well crafted original tunes and classic rock/folk covers.

Antique And Book Appraisal Day In Stephentown
The Friends of the Stephentown Library are holding an Antique and Book Appraisal Day on Saturday, June 16, at the Stephentown Heritage Center from 10 am to 1 pm. Charles Flint of Charles Flint Antiques, Lenox, MA, and Dan Lorber of Down in Denver Books, Stephentown, will be on hand to identify and give verbal appraisals of your treasures. West Hoosick FD Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast
The West Hoosick Fire Department announces an “All You Can Eat” Breakfast at the firehouse on Father’s Day Sunday, June 17, from 7:30 to 11 am. We gave the moms their turn last month, and we had a phenomenal turnout, now it’s dad’s turn! The menu includes pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
The firehouse is located on Pine Valley Road near the intersection of County Routes 109 and 103. If you have questions, please call the firehouse at 686-1814.
Two HerbFest Events At Darrow School
On Sunday, June 10, on the beautiful Darrow School campus on the grounds of Mount Lebanon Shaker Village, 110 Darrow Road, New Lebanon, Peter O’Hara, Landscape Volunteer, will be on hand to discuss and show highlights of the North Family Herb Garden (next to the North Family Forge) at 1:30 pm.

Del Rosario Receives Masters Degree
Kristen B. Del Rosario received a Master of Science in Accounting Degree from Siena College, Loudonville, NY, on Sunday, May 13, 2012. She was also the recipient of the Becker Scholarship for Success presented at the Siena College Accounting Students Association Annual Spring Banquet held on April 26. Kristen is the daughter of Donald and Janice Del Rosario of Hoosick Falls.
Local Students On SUNY Geneseo Dean’s List
The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean’s List for the spring semester 2012. To be on the list, a student must have achieved a 3.5 grade point average while taking at least 12 credit hours.

Grafton Lakes State Park Hosts Nationals Trails Day

On National Trails Day on Saturday, June 2, 75 hardy, enthusiastic people showed up despite the rainy, cold weather. Trail work support came from the Capital MTB, Grafton Trail Riders, Boy Scouts, Hannaford, Friends of Grafton Lakes State Park, Student Conservation Association and a strong group of other community members.
