Hoosick Falls – Kathryn Bingham Page passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Crescent Manor Care Centers in Bennington, VT, following a long illness. She leaves her sister, Dianne Bingham Stevens of Hoosick Falls, along with two sons. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 18, at 2 pm in the First Baptist Church of Hoosick Falls, 80 Main Street, with a time of fellowship to follow. Arrangements are by the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home of Petersburgh, NY.

Shortly before 1 pm on a beautiful, warm Sunday afternoon, April 28, several 911 calls were received reporting a plane crash in Hoosick Falls. The single engine Aeronica model airplane, piloted by Stanton Denis King of Bunker Hill Road, Valley Falls, was seen circling the Hoosick Falls Country Club and open land behind Rogers Avenue. The Sidewalks Of New Lebanon

On March 12 the Town of New Lebanon held a public hearing on a proposed plan to add sidewalks from roughly Lovers Lane, running along the north side of routes 20 and 22, to about the High School. There was mention of taking property through eminent domain, and many residents were worried taxes would go up, so it was little surprise that the new Town Hall was packed that night.
