Farmland Protection Grant Workshops Offered To Local Farmers

Four upcoming informational sessions, free and open to the public, are being held so that local farmers may learn more about the state Purchase of Development Rights (PDR) grants. The workshops will discuss the parameters of the state program so farmers can determine whether it might be suitable for their farms and how to apply for funding. Two Communities Joining Together To Re-Establish High School Wrestling In The Taconic Valley

The Berlin High School’s reentry into the sport of wrestling was a year marked by growing pains.  When the season started with their first scrimmage at Hoosick Falls, they had nearly a full team and high hopes.  By season’s end, they were down to just a few wrestlers, most having dropped out along the way.  Now coach D.J.
