Grafton Lakes State Park To Hold 25th Annual Winter Festival

Grafton Lakes State Park and the Friends of Grafton Lakes State Park will host the 25th Annual Winter Festival on Saturday, February 6, from 10 am to 4 pm. The Winter Fest will feature winter exhibits, vendors, family-friendly and recreational activities. The Winter Fest is free of charge.

Going On 106 In Stephentown

She had such fun over the Christmas holidays and would like to say ‘Thank you’ to all of her friends and relatives who remembered her special day. Hoosick Changes Name Of Athletic Field

On Tuesday, December 29, the Town of Hoosick Board, as it was, met for the final time. Members in attendance were outgoing Town Supervisor Marilyn Douglas, outgoing Councilman Kevin O’Malley and Councilmen Bob Ryan and Mark Surdam. Outgoing Councilman Mark Cottrell was absent. One of the items voted on during the meeting was a name change to the Joseph Bruno Athletic Field or Town Park. The Board unanimously voted to rename the area the Coach Ken Baker Memorial Sports Complex.

Mobile Mammography Van Coming To Berlin

Service Free For Uninsured Women
Bellevue Woman’s Hospital Mobile Mammography Van will be providing on site mammograms for insured and uninsured women at the Berlin Elementary School, 53 School Street, on Thursday, January 14, from 9 am to 1 pm.  The van is working with the Cancer Services Program of Rensselaer County to provide FREE annual screenings to women without insurance.
