Stephentown Town Board Action – Mining Is Still An Issue

Mining continues to be a thorny issue with the Stephentown Town Board. At their meeting on Monday, the Board passed a resolution requesting sealed bids for sand and gravel and other road materials. The Binding Friend Quilt Group and the activity committee of the Everett Wagar Senior Center in Grafton will be holding a quilt show at the Center on Saturday, July 11. New, vintage and antique quilts are sought for the show. There is no entry fee. If you have a quilt which you would like to enter in the show, please call Marcia at 658-3364 for more information. The deadline for entering a quilt is July 1.
