The Grafton Historical Society Annual Picnic Is June 17

The June 17 meeting of the Grafton Historical Society will be held at Taconic Lake for our annual picnic. The meeting begins at 6 pm.  A short business meeting will precede festivities. Contact Dorothy at 279-3298 if you have not already signed up to attend.

Stephentown Library Book Sale & Festival

The Stephentown Memorial Library Summer Book Sale and Festival is Saturday, July 11, from 8:30 am to 5 pm. There will be plenty of summer reading available – hard cover and paperback. There will be a tag sale and bake sale with food and music. The Library is  accepting book donations now during open hours.

Potluck Picnic And A Movie

The Lebanon Valley Historical Society Annual Potluck Picnic and a Movie is on Monday, June 15, starting at 6 pm at the Shaker Meadows Bed & Breakfast, 14209 Route 22 in New Lebanon. The picnic is free and open to the public. Bring a dish to share. Wine, soft drinks, coffee and tea will be provided.

West Hoosick F.D. Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast

The West Hoosick Fire Department announces an All You Can Eat Breakfast at the firehouse on Sunday, June 21, from 7:30 to 11 am.  Dads, it is your time to be honored so bring the family and enjoy a good breakfast. The menu includes pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage, toast, juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The firehouse is located on Pine Valley Rd. near the intersection of County Routes 109 and 103. Fifth Annual Burr Harpsichord Concert

Grafton Lakes State Park Hosts Successful National Trails Day

The National Trails Day event at Grafton Lakes State Park on Saturday, June 6, had an excellent turnout with over 100 participants for the second year in a row.  Volunteers cleaned up litter, cleared debris, put up new trail markers and improved drainage and terrain on many of the Park’s trails.
