On Saturday, December 6, the Grafton Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club, the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and the Friends of Grafton Lakes State Park will host a snowmobile safety course for young people ages 10 to 18. Students must be at least 10 years old on the day of the course. Parents are encouraged to attend and participate. Petersburgh Observation Post Is Moved Into Its New Place of Honor

On Saturday, November 1, a group of Petersburgh elders, Veterans and Town officials gathered to move the newly refurbished aircraft observation post from Rolland Hewitt’s yard, where it had been rebuilt, to a spot prepared for it between the Veterans Memorial Hall and the Library. The Town loader was called into service to carry the building with Town Highway Superintendent Ray Harrison to drive it.
