Upbeat Mood At Hoosick Rising Meeting
Positive Water News Feeds Hope Of Rebirth

The Hoosick Rising meeting, held at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall on Tuesday evening, March 22 was upbeat and forward-looking. Hopes were high that the Village and Town are, or will soon be, turning a corner.
The meeting began with an update on the water. The NYSDOH had just reported the results of ten new samples taken from ten different locations in the Village water distribution system. Hall And Zlotnick Become Eagle Scouts

Troop 222 has announced that two of its scouts have earned the rank of Eagle Scout. On April 9 at 3 pm at the Berlin High School, the troop will celebrate a double Eagle Court of Honor for Trevar Hall and Michael Zlotnick.
Trevar Hall completed his Eagle project for the Town of Petersburgh by building a lighted Town sign. Michael Zlotnick completed his Eagle project for the Cherryplain State Park by building a new walking trail along the north side of the lake. [Read more…] about Hall And Zlotnick Become Eagle Scouts
