Students in Megan Conner’s Ceramics classes have been hard at work crafting bowls for the Empty Bowls event happening in the high school cafeteria on April 16 starting at 6 pm. The event is designed to tie art with hunger awareness and benefits the Hoosick Area Church Association (HACA) food pantry.

NYS Maple Producers Association Sponsors Free Educational Event
NYS Maple Producers Association is a not-for-profit comprised of the folks who make maple syrup in New York State. The Association is welcoming everyone to visit member Sugar Houses on “Maple Weekend” April 2 and 3 to learn about the process of making maple syrup. Antiques And Art Discovery Day At Tech Valley High School
An antiques and art discovery day will be held to benefit the Tech Valley High School Parent Activities Council (PAC) on Saturday, April 16. The event is open to the public from 9 am to 6 pm. Antique, art and collectible experts from The Appraisers Road Show will hold the event at Tech Valley High School (TVHS), which is located at 246 Tricentennial Drive in Albany on the campus of the Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) at SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
