Tsatsawassa Pig Roast

On Saturday, August 15, the Tsatsawassa Protective Fire Company Inc. will hold its 27th Annual Pig Roast on the firehouse grounds located a 9 Firehouse Lane,  just off Route 20 in the hamlet of Brainard.  Doors will open at 1 pm and the afternoon will be filled with fun events including door prizes and games as well as hot dogs, sausage/hamburgers and drinks, all while the ‘whole pig’ covered with foil, will be roasting on the spit in view of the attendees.  [Read more…] about Tsatsawassa Pig Roast

Sign Up For School Supplies By Aug. 21 HACA School Supply Drive Continues

For the 10th year the Hoosick Area Church Association is collecting school supplies for its Back-2-School Boost program. Supplies can be left at any HACA Church, the Food Pantry Cart in Tops Market, Thorpes’ Pharmacy or Hoosick Federal Credit Union. Suggested items include: backpacks, crayons, erasers, glue, index cards, highlighters, markers, notebooks, loose leaf paper, tab dividers, three ring binders, pens, pencils, rulers and pencil boxes. Stein-Miner Elected President Of Board Of LVORC

She has served on the Board since 2011, attaining the position of Vice President in 2013. Memoir Writing Workshop With Vivian Dorsel

Berlin Central School District Registration Day

Registration for new students in kindergarten – 12th grade is held at the Berlin Middle High School Counseling Office, which is located at 17400 NY 22, Cherry Plain, NY 12040.   A Registration Day for all students interested in registering is scheduled for August 19, 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.
