Grafton Town Computers Allegedly Tampered With

Grafton Deputy Town Supervisor Cathy Goyer called the State Police on Thursday, May 31, after a series of incidents involving the Town computers. There has been no physical break-in, but things have been added and subtracted from several different Town computers over a period of months, and most recently a set of computer discs was taken. Garfield Road Bridge Under Construction; Lengthy Detours Ensue

A crew from Bette & Cring Construction Group of Latham started work on Monday on replacing the Garfield Road bridge that crosses Black Brook in the southwestern corner of Stephentown. The bridge is located at the intersection with the lower end of Gentile Road. Access to East Nassau from Stephentown will entail lengthy detours for about three months.

HFCS Kindergarteners Raise $1,800 For Children’s Hospital During Bike Safety Trike-A-Thon

Friday, May 4, was the third annual kindergarten Trike-A-Thon at Hoosick Falls Central School. The morning started with a New York State Trooper visiting the kindergarten classes to teach them about bicycle safety and discuss the importance of always wearing their helmets when riding their bikes.

On Saturday, May 26, the Temple adjoining the Grafton Peace Pagoda was crowded with folks of all ages, from babies to the elderly, who came to a flower festival celebrating the birth of Buddha.
