Letter To The Editor – Corrections?

October 28, 2011 By eastwickpress

To The Editor:
I attended both the Hoosick Falls Village and the Hoosick Town Board meetings last week, and I would like to correct some of the information in the articles in the October 14 issue.

And I believe it was Greg Laurin, not Morin, who spoke on behalf of the Green Heights residents, chastising Mr. Cipperly for his lack of awareness.

Bright Colors At The Berlin Library

October 28, 2011 By eastwickpress

Bright colors and flowers are among the subjects of paintings to be on display at the Berlin Free Town Library. The artwork by Crescenza (Grace) Zema of Stephentown is on exhibit through November 12. Her paintings reflect a love of nature and wildlife, and, although winter is on the way, the viewer will see more of springtime in much of what she has painted.
This mostly self-taught artist did study briefly with fellow painter Lee Blum of Waccabuc, NY. She has previously shown in various other libraries and galleries in the State. To contact Grace and see more of her paintings, call 518-733-5868.
