Petersburgh Government In Disarray

Lack Of Action Leads To A Confrontation

The government of the Town of Petersburgh found itself in disarray this week. Supervisor Mason Hubbard, who had major heart surgery last winter, is intending to resume his position at the head of Town government but is not yet well enough to resume his duties. Petersburgh Book Group Meeting

The book discussion group at the Petersburgh Public Library welcomes new members. The next meeting will be Monday, May 11, at 7:30 pm when the book Intuition by Allegra Goodman will be discussed.  Copies of the book are available at the library for anyone interested in reading the book and joining us for the discussion.

Pre-school story hour continues on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 AM.  There will be four more sessions before a short break.   Come on Tuesday for stories and activities on gardening.

Grafton/Petersburgh – Andrea Lynn Whitelaw, 41, of 18 Woodland Road, Niantic, CT, passed away Friday, April 3, 2009, at the Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, New London, CT.  Andrea was born on July 19, 1967, in Troy, NY, the daughter of Gordon (Gunny) Gundrum and Elizabeth Styles Cooper.
