On Friday, April 17, Music & Art Cafe in the Petersburgh Veterans Community Center presents husband and wife team Kaori Washiyama and Daniel Shulman performing on violin and piano.
Sand Lake artist Sally McCracken is displaying her paintings and framed prints at the Petersburgh Public Library through the end of April. McCracken’s beautiful watercolors include still life, landscape, abstract and fun, bright nursery themes.
The Petersburgh Children’s Garden Project is now accepting enrollment for the summer of 2009 camp sessions for children 8 to 10 years old. Children who take part will learn about the value of working in a group and, through the gardening process, will begin to understand what makes an effective, functional community.
