Darrow School’s Coffeehouse Features Blues Musician

As part of its diverse music programming, Darrow School will present Coffeehouse, an evening of acoustic music, poetry, comedy and spoken word on Friday, January 28, starting at 8:30 pm. The Hoosick Falls Senior Chorus Is On The Road Again – Now At The Troy Savings Bank Music Hall

Did you miss seeing the HFCS Chorus at Carnegie Hall? Now is your chance to see them perform at the historic Troy Savings Bank Music Hall.
On Sunday, February 13, at 4 pm the Hoosick Falls Senior Chorus will participate in High School Choralfest XI.  Spend the afternoon listening to five of the area’s best high school choirs paired with Albany Pro Musica and the Empire Youth Repertory Orchestra under the direction of David Beck.

Mountaineers Earn First Win In Double OT

Panthers Have No Trouble With Cambridge

Panther Pinmen Rack Up Two More

The Hoosick Falls bowling team defeated Corinth by the score of 4-0 on Thursday, January 13.  Total pins for Hoosick Falls were 3,479 to 2,195 pins for Corinth.  Hoosick Falls’ record is now 34-6 and Corinth’s record is now 13-27.

Berlin High School Senior Selected To Apprentice With Albany Pro Musica

Rachel Gordon, a senior at Berlin High School, has been selected for the prestigious Artist Apprenticeship with Albany Pro Musica, the premier choral group in the Capital Region.
Upon hearing the news, Gordon said, “I’m very excited and looking forward to this challenging opportunity.”

Panthers Have No Trouble With Bengals

On Monday night, January 10, the Hoosick Falls boys basketball team hosted WASAREN League foe Tamarac in a game that was supposed to be played on Friday night but was postponed. The second place Panthers had no trouble dealing with the Bengals from the opening tip, as they ran out to a 15-3 lead in the opening minutes.

Hoosick Falls Bowlers Split Two Matches

The Hoosick Falls bowling team won a very close away match against Schuylerville by the score of 3-1 on Thursday, January 6.  Total pins for Hoosick Falls was 3,430 to 3,328 total pins for Schuylerville.  Hoosick Falls now has a record of 30-2 and Schuylerville is 23-9.
