The Berlin School District just released the lead testing results, and I believe that the importance and the dangers are being downplayed. Almost all the window troughs tested in the classrooms were not just a little elevated as portrayed by BOCES but in most cases significantly over the HUD and EPA standards. Letter To The Editor – New Year Is A Disaster

October 8, 2010 By eastwickpress

Beautiful Day For A Cow Plop

October 8, 2010 By eastwickpress

by Bea Peterson
Sunday was a perfect autumn day. The weather was absolutely beautiful for the St. Mary’s Academy Cow Plop and Car Show. There were plenty of activities for the kids and lots of great food. Ben Patten supplied plenty of patter and music to match the era of the 113 collector cars, trucks and motorcycle that made up this year’s show. Those vehicles just gleamed in the sun!
