HFCS Meet The Coaches/Code Of Conduct Night

The Hoosick Falls Central School Athletic Department will be conducting its Meet the Coaches/Code of Conduct Night for JV and Varsity fall sports on Tuesday, August 25, at 7 pm in the High School Auditorium. Attendance is mandatory for all JV and Varsity fall sports athletes, with at least one parent or guardian, in order to participate in contests.

HFCS Board Sets Tax Rates

BCS Computer Network Deemed At Elevated Risk

The Berlin School Board received an assessment of the District’s computer network at its meeting Tuesday. Tom Buccino from Questar III and Jack Faber from Sirius Computer Solutions presented a report that covered the design and performance level of the network infrastructure and the adequacy of security systems. HFCS Has A New High School Principal

The Hoosick Falls School Board held its Reorganizational Meeting on Tuesday, July 14. Rye Mausert 3rd was sworn in as the newest member of the Board, and Laurie Gormley was sworn in for another term after being re-elected.  David Sutton was again elected as President of the Board, and John Helft as Vice-President.

BCS And Valley Cats Honor Bob Miller

If there was a teaching Hall of Fame in the Berlin Central School district, the selection committee would have a tough choice to make after this year.  Would they make retiring English teacher Bob Miller sit through the normal waiting period before admitting him, or would they waive that rule and allow him to be enshrined right away. Or maybe the only really difficult part would be finding a place to host the ceremony that was big enough to hold everyone who would want to see it.
