May 11 – 15 Is BCS Bus Driver Appreciation Week
The BCS community would like to recognize and thank the Transportation Department of the Berlin Central School District for their dedication and hard work. Our District PTOs will be hosting a breakfast in their honor on Wednesday, May 13. In addition we are asking that you place yellow and/or green ribbons in front of your home to show your support and appreciation.

Darrow School’s Sustainability Symposium

WOW! was the first word that came to mind after attending Darrow School’s First Annual Sustainability Symposium on April 21 and 22 (Earth Day). The two day symposium was the brainchild and shared vision of Craig Westcott, Director of Darrow’s Sampson Environmental Center, Alexandria Heddinger, Director of Advancement, Lisa Leary, Special Events Coordinator and the Darrow administration under the directorship of Nancy Wolf.

HFCS Bowling Awards And Banquet

After several postponements, the HFCS Bowling Team held its brunch banquet at Barbecue Recreation Saturday morning, April 25. One of those date changes was so Coach Bob Lang could accompany tenth grader Joey Wolfrum to the State tournament where Joey bowled on the Section II team.

The Little Sisters of Hoboken once again take to the Hoosick Falls Central School stage in a return engagement of the ever-popular musical comedy Nunsense. As previously, this show is presented by the Hoosick Falls Teachers’ Association for the entertainment of the audience and the benefit of the HFTA Student Scholarship Fund.
HFCS Pre-Licensing Course
Hoosick Falls Central School will sponsor the 5-Hour Prelicensing Class needed to take the NYS Driver’s test on Thursday, May 7. Registration begins at 4:30 pm in the High School Office with the class following promptly at 5 pm. A valid learner’s permit and a $35 registration fee are required.
