“We jumped out of the gate on fire offensively,” were the words used by Berlin Boys’ Basketball Coach Kasson Sauer to describe his team’s effort in defeating the Waterford Fordians on their own court Friday night by a score of 77-52. On Tuesday, February 2, the Hoosick Falls bowling team won their Adirondack League Bowling Tournament at Broadway Lanes in Fort Edward. They finished with a great 6-game total of 6,179 pins using the format of the best five scores of seven bowlers for each game. Carbon Filtration Plans Sent To County Health Department for Approval

A test of the water at the Hoosick Falls School District’s bus garage has found PFOA in the water at a concentration above the EPA Provisional Health Advisory level. The bus garage is 1.2 miles from the School District’s main campus. The water at the school does not have PFOA in it. It is tested regularly, and it is clean.
