On Friday October 2, the Berlin Boys Soccer team lost a close one to Doane Stuart in Rensselaer by a score of 1-0. This was the Mountaineers first league loss this season, and drops them into a tie with Loudonville Christian, whom they beat earlier this year. HF 5 – Corinth 2
Corinth High, 9/30, HF (O) 10-0, (L) 8-0, Cor (O) 2-7. The Lady Panthers got out to a quick lead when Liz Ryan, with an assist from Ally Burdick, scored with less than one minute gone in the game. Burdick and Ryan both scored later in the half to give the Panthers a 3-1 lead at the break. After the Tomahawks scored an early second half goal, the Panthers scored twice more.
