Sportsman Education Class
The Pioneer Fish & Game Club in Hoosick Falls will be conducting a NYS DEC Sportsman Education class. Class will be Thursday, April 8, and Saturday, April 10. You need to attend both days and need to pre-register. For Information contact Don at 518-686-4767.
New Public Fishing Area Opens April 1
Rensselaer Land Trust in cooperation with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation announces the opening of a new public fishing access site on the Hoosic River located on Route 67. The site has parking for 8 to 10 cars. A car top boat slide will be built later this summer.
From Eagle Bridge travel ½ mile west on Rt. 67; the site is on the right. From Buskirk travel 1.4 miles east on Rt. 67 from the intersection of Rt. 67 and 103; the site is on the left just past Beck Road.

Grafton Lakes and Cherry Plain State Parks April Events
6, Tuesday – Spring Break Special: Seed Spectacular at 10 am – Explore seeds of all sorts, and do some planting during this one hour program. We’ll reuse some household items for containers and sow seeds of the children’s choice. Bring your own or use the park’s seeds. $2/person, $5/family. Meets at Shaver Nature Center, 194 Shaver Pond Road, Grafton. Pre-register.

The Hoosick Falls Soccer Club is looking for players for the U10 Girls and U12 Boys Spring Travel Soccer Season. We are also in need of a U10 girls coach and a U12 boys coach for the upcoming season. TVSC Annual Meeting
The annual meeting of the Taconic Valley Soccer Club Inc. will be Tuesday, March 30, at the Berlin Library. The annual meeting will start at 7 pm and be followed by the monthly meeting.
Registration for the Spring season (k-5) has begun. Forms can be gotten at the Town Library and the elementary school office.

Ward Stone Is Featured At 2nd Annual Outdoor Expo
The 2nd Annual Hoosick Falls Outdoor Expo is being planned for March 26 and 27 at the Hoosick Falls Central School. Once again the headliner will be New York State Wildlife Pathologist Ward Stone, who will be speaking at the High School Auditorium at 6 pm on Friday, March 26.

HFCS Senior Class BBall Fund Raiser
The Hoosick Falls Central School Senior Class will be hosting a fund raiser on March 25. The Hoosick Falls Dream Team will take on the Harlem Rockets. Doors open at 5 pm, and the game will start at 7 pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance at $6 for students and $8 for adults or at the door, $8 for students and $10 for adults.
