Rainy weather changed the schedule for the girls soccer sectionals and #2 seed HF got to play #6 seed Albany Academy at Helft Field in Hoosick on October 30. The score was 3 – 0 for the Panthers. Goals were scored by Meaghan McKee, Allie Martin and Jenna Priore. Kelsey Rogers had six saves in the shutout, and the Hoosick Falls Girls Soccer Team became Class CC Champions once again. Fighting Irish In Super Bowl
On Sunday, October 17, the undefeated Fighting Irish faced off against the 3 – 3 Salem Patriots at HFCS. The Irish scored on their first possession and were never threatened, winning the game 45 – 12. Last Sunday, the Irish faced Schuylerville on the HFCS field. This Sunday they play in the Super Bowl.
