Past Chief Bill Seel Honored At Petersburgh Fire Department Installation

Sixteen years is a long time to be chief, but that is the number of years Petersburgh’s Bill Seel put in as the top officer of the Petersburgh Volunteer Fire Department.  Bill was first elected chief in 1998 and served until 2003. Fender Bender In Stephentown

No one was injured when two cars, one from Ohio, collided at the entrance to Gardner’s Coffee Shop on Route 43 in Stephentown on Friday afternoon, August 4. The Stephentown Volunteer Fire Department controlled the traffic flow and cleaned up the scene while they awaited salvage vehicles. The Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Department investigated the crash.
