Hoosick Board Reviews 2012 Budget

October 28, 2011 By eastwickpress

by Bea Peterson
On Monday evening Hoosick Town Councilmen had their first opportunity to review the 2012 budget presented to them by Town Supervisor Keith Cipperly. The budget workshop began at 6:30 and concluded three hours later. By that time everyone was chilled to the bone as there appeared to be no heat in the room. October 28, 2011 By eastwickpress

submitted by Phil Leonard
The Veterans Wall committee is working to get the wall ready for the dedication on 11/11/11 at 11 am. The five plaques containing the names of the veterans have arrived. The grinding wheel has been placed on the pedestal in the center front of the wall. The wheel will make a fine place for sitting and observing the plaques. The flag pole given to us by the Post Office is the next item to be placed. This will take a special base in order to have it firmly in the ground.
