The HFCS Graduation Week

It rained for days last week, but it never dampened the spirits of the Hoosick Falls Central School Class of 2011. Formal events began on Wednesday, June 22, with the Baccalaureate Service at Immaculate Conception Church. On Thursday evening it was Awards Night at school and on Friday evening it was Graduation, which had to be held indoors. (Thank goodness for air conditioning!)

The Berlin Republican Party held its Caucus for the upcoming November elections on June 9 at the Berlin Fire House. Ninety to a hundred people attended the caucus, but only the 79 Republicans who had voted in the last election as registered Republicans could cast a ballot at this caucus.
