Hoosick Historical Society Meeting

HFCS Senior Class BBall Fund Raiser

The Hoosick Falls Central School Senior Class will be hosting a fund raiser on March 25. The Hoosick Falls Dream Team will take on the Harlem Rockets. Doors open at 5 pm, and the game will start at 7 pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance at $6 for students and $8 for adults or at the door, $8 for students and $10 for adults.  For more information contact Beth Wilwol at 686-7812 or Hoosick Falls High School at 686-7321.

Last Chance To Register For Shatford Little League

Shatford Little League will be conducting its final registration for the 2010 season Saturday, March 20, from 10 am to noon at the Shatford Park Little League field in New Lebanon. Children living in Eastern Rensselaer and Columbia Counties who will be between the ages of 5 and 14 as of May 1 are eligible to play.

Cinderella Comes To Berlin High School

The Berlin High School Drama Club presents “Cinderella” at 7 pm on Friday, March 19, and Saturday, March 20. Tickets cost $6 for adults, $4 for students.
Spaghetti Dinner
The Junior/Senior class is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner on March 20, from 4 to 7 pm in the High School cafeteria. The cost for dinner is $6 for adults and $4 for students.
Support a good cause, get a hot meal and then watch the Drama Club performance of “Cinderella.”

Berlin Rabies Clinic

A Rabies Clinic will be held on Thursday, April 22, at the Berlin Highway Garage on Route 22 in Berlin. All rabies vaccines, dog-DHLPP vaccines and cat-FURCP vaccines cost $10 each; cash only! Tsatsawassa Fire Company Breakfast

The Tsatsawassa Protective Fire Company will offer its monthly breakfast on Sunday,  March  21,   with servings from 8 am until noon. Breakfast consists of your choice of French toast or pancakes as well as bacon or sausage,  toast,  orange juice, applesauce and  eggs prepared to your specifications.

New Lebanon – Elizabeth “Betts” Steele Miller, 82, of New Lebanon, NY, died on Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at Fairview Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Great Barrington, MA, after a hip fracture in October of 2008 and resulting long illness.
