Grafton Community Library Receives Community Art$ Grant
The Grafton Community Library is pleased to announce that the Library has been awarded a Community Art$ Grant for its Summer Arts and Reading Program. The Arts Center of the Capital Region offers the Community Art$ Grant program to eligible community organizations in Albany, Rensselaer and Schenectady counties for community arts and cultural projects.

Athletes, Webster Honored At BCS Sports Awards

On Wednesday night, the Berlin Central School winter sports awards were held. Participation awards as well as Most Valuable Player and Most Improved Player awards were given out. Coaches for modified, junior varsity and varsity wrestling, swimming, cheerleading, volleyball and basketball each took the opportunity to thank parents, the school and the players themselves for the dedication they put into this winter sports season.

Hoosick Falls Election March 16

Hoosick Falls Village Trustees Ann Marie Bornt, Robert Downing and Michael Hickey are running unopposed for re-election on Tuesday, March 16. Though they are running unopposed it is important that Village residents show their support for these dedicated individuals by voting for them on election day.
Ward 1 will be voting at the CEO building on River Road. Wards 2, 3 and 4 will be voting in the Municipal Building on Main Street. The polls will be open from noon to 9 pm.
Little Hoosic Watershed Association Annual Meeting
The Little Hoosic Watershed Association annual meeting will be held on Monday, March 22, at 7 pm at the Petersburgh Veterans Memorial Hall. The public is welcome. Agenda items include a review of work completed in 2009, the election of the Board of Directors and an update on projects planned for 2010.

American Diabetes Alert Day
The Bennington Health and Rehabilitation Center will host a free talk for caregivers, patients with diabetes and health care professionals on Friday, March 19, at 2 pm, presented by Deborah Henley, MD.
