Revisiting Grafton’s Bicentennial

The topic of September meeting of the Grafton Historical Society is Revisiting Grafton’s Bicentennial; parade videos and photos of the big day will be presented.
The meeting will be held on September 16 at 7 pm at the Grafton Town Hall. There will be a business meeting, and refreshments will be served. The  meeting is free, and the public is invited.

Kiwanis Chicken BBQ

On Tuesday, September 15, at 4:30 pm the Kiwanis will hold a chicken BBQ at the Hoosick Falls Fire Dept. on Griffin Avenue. A $10 donation gets you a half chicken, coleslaw, potato salad, roll and desert. Call Roberta at 518-686-7217 for tickets.

Grafton VFD Breakfast

The Grafton Volunteer Fire Department along with the Grafton Ladies Auxiliary will be holding an All You Can Eat Buffet Breakfast on Saturday, September 26, from 8 to 11 am at the Grafton VFW/Fire Hall on South Road (County Route 85).
The menu consists of Belgian waffles, pancakes, French toast, eggs (made to order), bacon, sausage, home fries, toast, orange juice, coffee and milk.  The cost is $8 per adult, $4 for kids 6 to 12 and free for kids 5 and under.  We look forward to serving you.

Johnsonville Rescue Squad Ham Dinner

The Johnsonville Volunteer Rescue Squad located at 4 River Rd. Johnsonville, will be holding its 47th Annual Ham Dinner on Sunday, September 27, from noon to 3 pm. The cost is $10 for adults. $5 for children under 12. Reservations preferred by calling 753-6011.
