Hoosick Falls Central School Opens Tuesday, September 8
Wednesday, September 2, and Thursday, September 3, are Superintendent Conference Days – no students.
Students in grades k – 12 will begin with a full day of instruction on Tuesday, September 8. Breakfast and lunch will be provided as usual. Students should follow their regular bus assignments and schedules.

Hoosick Falls Girl Scout Troop #1313 and three chaperones, spent five days in mid-August enjoying the sites of Washington, DC. This trip comes after three years of planning and fund raising efforts, so the young women were sure to fit in as much sightseeing as they could – covering many miles on foot and Metrorail. Hoosick Grange News
Hoosick Grange met on Wednesday, August 12. Before the meeting there was a delicious hot dog roast and corn on the cob with all the various covered dishes. After the supper they set up for their Bingo Games. There were lots of prizes and the grangers played until all prizes were gone. The prizes were really special and unique. They had lots of fun.
The next meeting was on August 26, and it featured the election of officers. Betty Kipp was in charge of the Lecturer’s program. David Cornell was in charge of the refreshments. Grangers are busy working on their fair booth for the Schaghticoke Fair.
