Panther Softball Team Beats Granville On Three-Hitter

Last Monday afternoon, May 4, Charlie Weeden’s Hoosick Falls Central School Panther softball team had freshman right hand pitcher Rachel Quackenbush on the hill. The Queen was throwing mostly smoke all game as the Panthers used her three-hitter to get by a very competitive Granville Golden Horde nine by a 3-1 margin. May 11 – 15 Is BCS Bus Driver Appreciation Week

K Of C Buffet Breakfast

Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a buffet breakfast on Sunday, May 17, from 8 to 11 am at the Immaculate Conception Church in Hoosick Falls. Breakfast includes eggs, pancakes, French toast, sausage, home fries, muffins, orange juice, etc.  The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

Buskirk Vol. FD Monthly Breakfast

The Buskirk Volunteer Fire Department will once again be hosting its monthly all you can eat breakfast at the fire station, 2217 Buskirk – West Hoosick Road, on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10,  from 7:30 to 11 am. The menu includes pancakes, French toast, eggs any style, bacon, sausage, toast and choice of beverage. We thank everyone for their support.
