The boys soon found that this was to be no stroll in the woods; they would have to fight for every bucket. HAYC3 Labyrinth Walk At The Armory
On Sunday, December 30, HAYC3 will host a meditative Labyrinth Walk at the Armory from Noon to 3 pm.
Measuring approximately 36 feet wide, the labyrinth provides a calming, peaceful start to ready your mind and spirit for the coming New Year.
Labyrinth walkers will enter and exit at the same point, and can always see where they are going as the path is clearly marked on the ground. The labyrinth is not a maze. The purpose of a maze is to lose your way: the labyrinth is designed for you to find your way. It represents a journey to your own center and back out into the world. The design of the labyrinth replicates the floor of Chartres Cathedral in France.
Labyrinth walks should begin at least 30-mintues before closing time. The event is free and open to the public; no reservations required. Please bring a pair of comfortable socks for your walk. For more information, call HAYC3 (518) 686-9050.
