Petersburgh Town Board Action – Broken Wheel Fixed

Highway Superintendent Ray Harrison said his crew had poured new footings for the Broken Wheel Bridge, working with the County Engineer, and the red flag has been removed from that bridge.
Town Board Member Bill Seel thanked him for fixing that bridge.

Berlin Town Board Action – What For The Watipi

The future of the Watipi Building as a Town property may be in doubt. The Town Board discussed the possibility of divesting the Town of it at the Berlin Town Board meeting on Thursday, September 13. New 2 You Consignment Shop Opens In Hoosick Falls

Sue Lewsey said, “Ever since the Corner Closet on John Street closed years ago, I’ve wanted to see a clothing store in Hoosick Falls.” Well, she’s made it happen. Granted, it’s a consignment shop, but it’s definitely a high end shop. She has only been open a few weeks, “But the response has been wonderful,” she said. Community Picnic In Shatford Park

On Saturday, September 22, the Town of New Lebanon Recreation Commission will be hosting a community picnic in Shatford Park. The picnic runs from 11 am to 3 pm.
We will be serving up hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, soft drinks and water. Live music will be provided by Dana Welts.  There will be games, a coloring station for the little (or even not so little) ones, information will be available on some of the programs offered by the Sheriff’s  Department; we hope to have a deputy to explain it all. There will also be information on the rail trail and much, much more. Admission is free.
Come join us, your family, your neighbors and your friends for a fun day in the park.
