Graveside Service For Ruth Koepp

Stephentown – Ruth H. Avery Koepp, 84, a 70 year resident of Stephentown, NY, died on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at her residence after a long illness.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 26, at 1 pm in the Cemetery of the Evergreens in Lebanon Springs, NY. A reception will follow at the New Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department’s hall on Route 20. Contributions in her memory may be given to the Veterans of Stephentown, in care of the Hall & Higgins Funeral Home, P.O. Box 9, Stephentown, NY, 12168.

Hoosick – Clara Marie Campbell, 75, passed away on May 8, 2012, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT. She had resided on Route 67 in Hoosick, NY.
Services were private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were handled by the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street, in Hoosick Falls, NY.

Ipswich, MA/Hoosick – Camilla F. (Stevens) Cottrell, 96, formerly of Pittsfield, MA, died Sunday, May 13, 2012, in the Essex Park Rehabilitation Center, Beverly, MA, following complications from a fall. She was the wife of the late Ernest Gordon Cottrell, who died in 1967.

Hoosick Board Passes Resolution Supporting HAYC3 Takeover Of Armory

It took less than 10 minutes for the Hoosick Town Board to pass a resolution supporting takeover of the Armory by the Hoosick Area Youth Center And Community Coalition (HAYC3). The special meeting was held at 7 pm on May 8. It was open to the public, but there was to be no public comment. Several members of the HAYC3 Board were in attendance.
