Grafton Planning Board Action – User Roads

The main issue at the Grafton Planning Board meeting on Monday. February 27, was the Patrick Halloran and Linda Andriano 2-lot subdivision on Clickner Road. A number of Halloran’s neighbors attended the public hearing which began at 6:45 pm. They seemed to have two concerns. One was the actual number of lots that would result from the Halloran subdivision, since the property has already been sub-divided. The other was the clarification of Halloran’s responsibility and the responsibility of all the land owners there for the upgrading and maintenance of Clickner Road.

Panther Wrestlers On The Podium At Wrestling States

For the second year in a row Brad Burns and Luis Weierbach highlighted their wrestling seasons with hard earned trips to the New York State Wrestling Championships at the Times Union Center in Albany this past weekend. After neither of them placed last year, the goal this year was to end the weekend on the podium.

Panthers Fight Off Upset Bid By Rensselaer

While Hoosick Falls was talking about upsets following the 13th seeded girls basketball team’s back to back upsets in their sectional tournament, the boys team had to work especially hard to avoid becoming a victim of the upset as well. The Panthers played a pesky Rensselaer team, seeded 9th, at Hudson Valley Community College on Saturday afternoon.
