Triviapalooza – Game On
Trivia buffs, we know you’re out there! We have two teams ready and raring to go but need two individuals for a pick up team plus one more team of three to round out our Triviapalooza Main Event this Saturday, September 21, from 2:15 to 2:45 at the Wood Memorial Park Gazebo during Pumpkinpalooza.
Main Event categories include military history, New York State, In & Around Town (all about HF and surrounding area) and sports. All will include local trivia as well as general knowledge questions.
You can also play individually throughout the day by stopping at the Voice of a Vet booth any time. Choose a category (those listed above not included) and answer as many questions as you can in three minutes. We will log players’ points on our score board and at the end of the day a winner will be declared in both adult and children’s divisions, a child is up to and including age 11. Heroes at Home will be providing prizes for both team and individual events.
If you feel something tugging at your heartstrings, take courage, place that phone call and reserve your spot. If you’re not inclined to play, come on out, enjoy the fun and cheer for those who are.
Triviapalooza! is being sponsored by veterans task forces Voice of a Vet and Heroes at Home. Our booth will also have general and event information from local, county and state veterans organizations and beautiful 2014 inspirational calendars on sale to help benefit local veterans events.
For more information or if you’d like to register for the Main Event, call Gail at 686-3269 or Tom at 686-5075.
