Go Green Community Day
Come join the fun! On Saturday, August 8, a Go Green Community Day will be held at the ERC Community Warehouse in Hoosick Falls from 10 am to 1 pm. Kids will learn how to reduce, reuse and recycle, through fun games, crafts and displays. Tours of the Community Warehouse and a bottle, shoe and book drive will also take place at the Community Warehouse at that time. So bring your bottles, shoes and books to help our cause.

Project Linus Helps Seriously Ill Children

Last year the Hoosac Villagers, a crafts group that meets monthly from September to May, decided to make blankets for Project Linus.
Project Linus has hundreds of chapters and thousands of volunteers across the United States. They all work together to help provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need, through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”
