American Legion Auxiliary Meeting

American Legion Unit #40 Auxiliary monthly meeting will be held on Thursday, November 6, at the Post Home at 150 Main Street in Hoosick Falls.  Refreshments and social time will begin at 6 pm and the meeting will begin promptly at 6:30 pm. Helvi’s Opens Upstairs For Parties

The upstairs was only a shell when they opened the restaurant. The room will accommodate 40 people. They had their first party in the new facility on Sunday. Fighting Irish In Super Bowl

On Sunday, October 17, the undefeated Fighting Irish faced off against the 3 – 3 Salem Patriots at HFCS. The Irish scored on their first possession and were never threatened, winning the game 45 – 12. Last Sunday, the Irish faced Schuylerville on the HFCS field. This Sunday they play in the Super Bowl.
