One person at a time we can change our community; one community at a time we can change our world.
Girl Scout Troop 1371 has been collecting used household batteries at various locations around Berlin over the past year. At Rensselaer County’s Hazardous Waste Collection Day we recycled 102 pounds of household batteries.
Because of the success of our efforts we have decided to keep the project going. Battery collection boxes have been placed at Bank of America in Berlin, the Seventh Day Baptist Church in Berlin and the Berlin Free Library.
Help us better our world, one community at a time.
